Looking to build a strong bond with your versatile hunting dog? NAVHDA Training Days are the perfect opportunity to develop your dog’s natural abilities and refine essential hunting skills in a supportive, hands-on environment. All levels of handlers and dogs are welcome—come learn, practice, and connect with fellow enthusiasts!
Testing
The NAVHDA testing system isn’t just about competition—it’s about setting clear, attainable goals and evaluating your dog’s skills in a supportive, structured environment. Whether you’re aiming to build a solid foundation with the Natural Ability Test or pushing towards advanced levels, testing gives you valuable feedback, encourages steady progress, and strengthens the bond between you and your dog.
MEMBERSHIP
In order to join a local chapter patrons must first be a member of NAVHDA International, and then may join the Appalachian Valley chapter.
Guests are welcome and may observe training day and learn more!!!
Joining AVC Chapter
AVC Membership dues are $30 and can be paid online via the Payments tab, brought to a training day, or mailed to the Treasurer, Judy Paris.
If you are a new member, please include your name, address, email, & NAVHDA International number.
